A little Warning!

I have been out and cut grass every week now (just work) and not time to do something else with my friend, except for planning to make a ”Släpkärra”. Some weels are bought. I’ll be back on this. Anyway, now it´s summer vacation so there might be some time left to publish more on this site.

The weather was fine and it was time to cut the piece of land next to the ”garden”.

After some hours of hard work…

I am not totally satisfied with the replacement belt for the grass cutter that I bought from the UK. I have not mentioned this earlier, but I have also tried to get some other replacement belt. I have found one that I will test. The problem with the one I have, is that it ”slirar” – it seems to be a few cm´s too long. I will come back with a report on this when I have tried the other ones.

On May 8 I started my machine. Everything was OK – Yeah ! Ready for a new season!

Now my Simplicity does the job! The grass growes like in hell! Don´t know if grass grows there, but the rain makes and part time sun makes it grow too fast. Im going for a ride at least once a week on the lawn.

July 2, 21012 – poor weather and long grass.

Two new knives, one bushing for the tank, one fuel cap, two pulleys and four deck rollers just arrived from H and H Lawncare Equipment in US. The urgent need is to change one puller (idler) to the cutter and to replace the old blades. The old ones (blades) seems to never have been changed. Sharpened from time to time, but really in the condition that requires replavement. The fuel cap will also be replaced at once – now it will be little more easy to see the petrol level.

New parts just arrived!

Well too much grass and too much unknown things in it made the belt fail today. Some remains from a tree got onto the driving mechanism on the mover and caused the severe failure. New belt(s) ordered. Took two this time!!
